Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police arrested three suspected drug peddlers including a woman in Morigaon district on Thursday.
Following a tip off from sources a team of Morigaon police officials launched a search operation against drugs and the three accused in the Dantialbori area under Laharighat police station.
During the operation, the officials recovered 28 soap boxes with a total of 390 grams of heroin from their possession.
However, the estimated cost of the heroin is said to be Rs 3 crore.
Further investigation is underway into the matter.
