Guwahati: Four persons arrested in the 25-year-old youth murder case at Sijubari area of Hatigaon in the city. The incident took place on April 5.
The deceased was identified as Dhrubajyoti Deka.
According to reports, Deka went to a hotel named Raj Palace in the Hatigaon area along with two of his friends identifies as Devraj Chetry and Biki Kundu. There were also three females with Dhrubajyoti at the hotel.
Moreover, the manager of the hotel identified as Mofidul Islam and also the owner of the building Rajeev Ali.
Meanwhile, the police are searching for the three accused females who were at the hotel along with the three men that night.
It may be mentioned that the family of Dhrubajyoti filed a case of murder under the section 302 of the Indian Penal Code. But the police haven’s registered the case as the post mortem of Deka is yet to come and reason behind the death is unknown.
