Assam HS Result to be declared on 20th June

Guwahati: The All-Assam Students’ Union (AASU) met with the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) on Tuesday to discuss the announcement of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination results.

The meeting took place at the SEBA office in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidam.

AASU urged that the HSLC results be released as soon as possible during the conference.

It needs to be mentioned that the examination results were supposed to be released on May 30.

However, SEBA authorities stated that the rectification of exam papers had not yet been completed, causing a delay in the announcement of results.

Representatives from AASU met with SEBA Secretary N Nath to discuss the situation. They urged that the findings be announced no later than June 5.

Meanwhile, SEBA has agreed to the demands and stated that the HSLC results will be released by June 5. Due to the ongoing Gunotsav in Assam, they said there was a delay in editing the answer scripts.

Following the discussion at the SEBA headquarters, AASU leaders visited to the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) to debate the declaration of Higher Secondary (HS) results.

They met with the AHSEC secretary in the area and inquired as to why the HS results had been delayed.

The conclusions of the conference will be announced by June 20, according to AHSEC.
