Guwahati: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma stated that the police will pursue all those implicated in the Batadrava arson on Monday.
Sarma said, “I was informed this morning by the police that the mastermind behind the Batadrava incident has died. I am confident that the police will deliver justice to those who are in need, as well as legal punishment to all those involved in the tragedy.”
“The Nagaon police will conduct a thorough inquiry and bring all facts to light,” CM Sarma added.
It needs to be mentioned that the mastermind of the Batadrava arson, Ashiqul Islam was killed in a car accident in Raidongia of Nagaon district.
