Guwahati: A dead body suspected to be one of the passengers of the June 16 Hojai Boat capsize has been recovered.
The deceased has been identified as Sirajul Haque.
According to reports, his body was discovered floating in the water near Bagori village in east Bagori.
It should be noted that on June 16, a tragic boat accident occurred in Bajrapur. Three persons were killed in the accident.
The bodies of two deceased people identified as Anuwar Begum and Salima Khatun had been recovered, while search operations were underway to recover Sirajul Haque’s body.
