Guwahati: The dead body of a minor girl, who went missing after she jumped into a river in Dhubri district of Assam has been recovered on Tuesday afternoon.
The body was recovered after 2days she went missing.
According to reports, the girl’s body was recovered on the north side of the Gadadhar River, just a kilometre from where she leapt.
The deceased identified as Shivani Rai leapt into the Gadadhar River from a bridge in Tamarhat on June 19, and then went missing.
The teenager is suspected to have committed suicide, according to police.
Shivani was a student of class 10.
