4 Dead & Nine Injured a Boundary Wall Collapses in UP’s Noida
Guwahati: As many as nine workers have been injured while four others were dead after a wall that was still under construction fell in Noida Sector-21 on Tuesday morning. According to reports, numerous other people might be trapped among the wreckage.
The incident took place in Noida Sector-21 close to Jalvayu Vihar.
The injured workers have been admitted in the nearby Hospital.
According to reports, rescue efforts are being carried out by the police and locals. JCB equipment and fire tenders were also used to aid with the rescue efforts.
The Noida authorities had awarded a contract for drainage repair work close to Jal Vayu Vihar in Sector 21, according to Noida District Magistrate Suhas LY, who gave a statement to the media regarding the occurrence.
“We’ve been told when labourers were pulling out bricks, wall collapsed. It will be probed. We have received information of two deaths each at the district hospital and Kailash Hospital. It is being verified,” Noida DM said.
Yogi Adityanath, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, expressed his sorrow over the incident’s fatalities. He gave orders for the senior commanders to rush there and start providing aid in a warlike manner.
