Alliance Air Launches Flights In Assam

Guwahati: Alliance Air launched its flight operations from the Lilabari Airport in the Lakhimpur district on Sunday in an effort to improve air connectivity in Assam.

The Union Minister of Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia virtually inaugurated  the flight service.

Under the UDAN programme of the federal government, flight service was launched from four other Northeastern airports, including Ziro, Shillong, Imphal, and Aizawl.

According to reports, the Alliance Air will operate two weekly flights to Ziro and four weekly flights to Shillong. On the other hand, flight service between Lilabari and Pasighat and Lilabari and Tezpur has also begun
