3.8 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Arunachal Pradesh
Guwahati: A low-density earthquake with a magnitude of 3.8 struck the Basar town in the Lepa-Rada district of the state of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday morning, according to the National Center for Seismology (NCS).
According to NCS, the earthquake occured today at roughly 7:1 am, 58 kilometres north-west-northeast of Basar,.
The earthquake occurred 10 kilometres below the surface of the earth.
“Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.8, Occurred on 23-11-2022, 07:01:40 IST, Lat: 28.43 & Long: 94.37, Depth: 10 Km, Location: 58km NNW of Basar, Arunachal Pradesh, India,” NCS said in a tweet.
