Guwahati: A suspected drug peddler has been arrested by Assam Police for allegedly running a drug business in Bongaigaon district of Assam on Sunday.
The drug peddler identified as Govind Sharma.
Based on specific input, Bongaigaon Police conducted a raid and arrested Sharma from FCI market in Jogighopa.
During the operation, the Jogighopa police recovered 119 intoxicating capsules and a mobile phone from his possession.
According to reports, Sharma ran the drug business from a FAST FOOD shop.
Officials informed that further investigation into the case is underway.
