Assam CM Pays Tribute to The Heroic Martyrs In R-Day

Guwahati: On the occasion of the 74th Republic Day, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma presided over the flag-raising event at Khanapara Veterinary Field. He addressed the ceremony with a poem by Prasannalal Chowdhury. Along with wishing everyone in the state a “Happy Republic Day,” he introduced the phrase “terms of the Constitution of India are not restricted to legislation” as a tribute to the valiant martyrs.

However, he also noted in his speech that since Modi assumed power, India has witnessed a remarkable transformation, and that Modi’s vision of a Digital India has brought India a long way from where it is now.

The good news is that the entire Indian economy is now moving forward in a digital environment. This is a great time for us as India’s economy has now overtaken the United States to become the fifth largest economy in the world. India should be proud of its G20 presidency.
