Arvind Kejriwal & Bhagwant Mann To Visit Guwahati In April
Guwahati: Leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Arvind Kejriwal and Chief minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mannwill both visit Guwahati on April 2 in an effort to increase the party’s support in the Northeast.
AAP is attempting to take root in Assam and the Northeast by taking advantage of a weak opposition. In this regard, the regional office of the party has invited Arvind Kejriwal, its leader and Bhagwant Mann, the chief minister of Punjab to pay a visit.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which is now in power has angered the residents of Assam and the Northeast with its anti-people policies, high-level corruption and rising inflation, according to a statement from the AAP. AAP is attempting to entrench itself in the position despite the lack of significant opposition in the area.
In addition, the party has urged those who wish to improve education for the benefit of the next generation to support it and show up in large numbers on April 2 when the party’s leadership will be in Guwahati.
The Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma’s administration is accused by the AAP of neglecting the state’s poor who are now living in appalling conditions. The party has also claimed that officials were abused to conduct illegal evictions and confrontations with criminals. AAP has pledged that during these difficult times, the party will stand behind the populace and criticise the administration.
Under the direction of AAP State Coordinator Dr. Bhaben Choudhury and North East Supervisor Rajesh Sharma, the aforementioned claims were made in a news release.
