Guwahati: The rescheduled date for the HSLC Modern Indian Language (MIL) exam which had been postponed was announced on March 22 by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA).
SEBA has announced that the MIL exam will now take place on April 1.
The General Science paper will now be conducted on March 30, 2023, as well as the English exam that was canceled at JR Higher Secondary School, Ganirgram which will now take place on March 28. These new dates were previously published by the state education board on March 13.
Earlier, Assam Education Minister, Dr Ranoj Pegu tweeted, “Due to media reports of the question paper being leaked, the General Science exam of the ongoing HSLC exam, which was scheduled for March 13, 2023, has been cancelled by SEBA. The following date will be announced”.
Meanwhile, Assam Police have filed a cas and CID is investigating it.
The three SEBA employees are currently being questioned by CID officers. Parents and students in Assam are worried about the HSLC paper leak case and officials are investigating the incident.
