Guwahati: Assam-born Rajiv Goswami and Claire Royalle of England won the mixed doubles match at the All England Masters Badminton competition in London on Sunday.
The duo defeated their Danish opponents 21-12, 21-19 at the All England Masters Badminton competition (35 years and older) which was hosted at Hatfield in London.
It should be noted that Rajiv Goswami alumnus of Cotton University and began playing badminton at the indoor stadium in Kolkata.
He frequently represented Assam in national competitions and Indian school teams.
Goswami is presently an approved coach for England Badminton and is also working as a consultant in the energy sector.
