Sports Desk, 21 May: Assam girl Astha Choudhury is shining in Dubai after winning yet another gold medal on Sunday at the 2nd Speedo Invitational Long Course Meet 2023. Astha was able to win the gold medal with a record time of 2.19.96 metres in the 200-meter butterfly competition, reports stated.
Notably, Astha Choudhury has now won two gold medals at the competition which ended today.
On Saturday, Astha Choudhury won the women’s 100m butterfly gold medal at the 2nd Speedo Invitational Long Course Meet 2023 in Dubai. Astha was able to win the gold medal with a better performance than before. She triumphed with a time-record of 1.01.98 metres..

Earlier in October, Astha set a new personal best time of 1.02.71 at the 47th Glenmark Junior National Aquatic Championship in Bangalore smashing the 12-year-old senior national record of 1.03.24 and the junior national record of 1.04.66.
