Mayur Hazarika From Assam Secures Fifth in UPSC 2022

Guwahati, 23 May: A youth from Assam Mayur Hazarika has secured fifth rank in the recent finished UPSC 2022. B

Mayur secured fifth based on the results of the Personality Test interviews done in January–May of 2023 and the September 2022 written portion of the Civil Services Examination, 2022 administered by the Union Public Service Commission.

A total of 933candidates have received appointment recommendations this year. Meanwhile, females have taken the top four spots. Those are:

1st Rank – ISHITA KISHORE, 2nd Rank – GARIMA LOHIA, 3rd Rank – UMA HARATHI N, 4th Rank-  SMRITI MISHRA

Additionally, another Youth from Assam Mohammad Idul Ahmed also cracked the UPSC exam with 298th rank.

The UPSC CSE preliminary test was held on June 5, 2022 and the results were released on June 22. The mains exam took place between September 16 and September 25 and results were released on December 6.

Meanwhile, the personal interviews concluded on May 18.

All the candidates have been recommended for appointment to, Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Central Services, Groups “A” and “B” have all recommended all of the candidates for employment.
