Guwahati, 24 May: In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old girl was allegedly tried to rape at Bihubar under Nazira in the Sivasagar district. The victim herself has accused the girl of trying to kill her in search of treasure. According to the complaint lodged by the young woman, a man identified Mochowa Munda had planned the horrific incident.
The young woman also mentioned that she would give Rs 2 lakh to her mother and take her in exchange for it and sacrifice her. According to the girl, the accused Mochowa Munda also tried to forcibly attack her on the way to work.
The victim then approached the police and the incident came to light after the young woman complained to the police mentioning the whole incident. After receiving this complaint, the police launched a investigation for the accused but Mochowa Munda is still absconding. The police are already investigating the matter.
After the news of Human sacrifice attempt in search of treasure spread, there has been a huge uproar in the district along with Nazira. However, the reason behind the incident will come to light only after the arrest of the accused Mochowa Munda.
