Odisha Train Accident: Adani Group to Take Responsibility For Education of Children Who Lost Their Parents
National Desk, 5 June: Several children have lost their parents in the tragic train accident in Balasore, Odisha and several children are now homeless.
At a time when questions have been raised about the responsibility and future of the children who lost their parents in this accident, the country’s leading corporate group ‘Adani Group’ has come forward to take charges of their education.
The announcement was made by Chairman and Founder of Adani Group, Adani Gautam. And he wrote in twitter, “I have decided that Adani will take responsibility for the schooling of the children who lost their parents in this tragedy.”
He added, “It is the responsibility for all of us to provide strength to the victims and their families.”
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnavi said that the cause of the accident and the people responsible for it have been identified. He says that the accident was caused by a change in the electronic interlock.
It is to be noted that around 300 people were killed and more than 900 injured in the horrific train accident that took place June 2 at around 7 pm. According to reports, it was the fourth deadliest train accident in India that took place around 250 km south of Kolkata and 170 km north of Bhubaneswar near Bahanaga Bazar station in Balasore district.
