Government Officer Transferred to CRPF on Deputation Basis

Guwahati, 1st August: In line with the Government of India’s directives and the Ministry of Home Affairs Letter, a significant personnel change has taken place in the police administration.

AY.V. Krishna, IPS (AM: 1995), Addl. Director General of Police (CID), Assam, Guwahati, will now serve in the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) as Inspector General. This appointment comes on a deputation basis for a fixed term of 05 (five) years from the date of assuming the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The transfer is made in the interest of public service, aligning with the government’s strategic requirements for the efficient and effective functioning of the police forces.

AY.V. Krishna is released from his current responsibilities from the date of handing over of charges, facilitating a smooth transition to his new role in the CRPF.

This change aims to optimize the collective efforts of the police forces and enhance their capabilities to address prevailing challenges in safeguarding the nation’s security and upholding law and order.

As AY.V. Krishna assumes his new responsibilities, the public wishes him well in this crucial role within the Central Reserve Police Force.
