Major Road Mishap in Assam’s Gauripur Leaves Seven Students Gravely Injured

Gawahati, 2nd August: As many as seven students sustained severe injuries in a significant road mishap that occurred on Wednesday in Gauripur, Assam.

According to initial reports, the incident took place at Alamganj in Gauripur, Dhubri district, Assam.

Officials stated that an expensive-looking four-wheeler collided with an e-rickshaw, leading to the accident.

The car, which was reportedly coming in from West Bengal and had entered Assam on its way to Guwahati, met with the accident on National Highway Number 17 near Alamganj in Dhubri.

Following the collision, the injured students were swiftly taken to Dhubri Hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, the driver of the car, responsible for the accident, has reportedly surrendered himself before Gauripur Traffic Police.
