AICC Affirms Confidence in Bhupen Bora as APCC President

National Desk, 7th August: Jitendra Singh, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) in-charge for Assam, addressed a press meet in New Delhi on Sunday, confirming that the AICC has full confidence in Bhupen Bora, and the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) will continue to operate under his leadership.

He urged the public to disregard rumors of a change in the APCC President position.

Singh also shared information about an upcoming meeting on August 8 in Delhi, focusing on the unified plan of action of 12 opposition parties of Assam with I.N.D.I.A. The meeting will be attended by Rahul Gandhi and AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge.

Furthermore, Singh assured that AIUDF will not be part of I.N.D.I.A.

He hailed the Supreme Court’s judgement on the Rahul Gandhi case as a victory of truth.

In a separate development, Rahul Gandhi’s Lok Sabha membership has been restored on Monday.
