Guwahati, 13th August: In a remarkable display of courage, a teenager from Amingaon managed to break free from the clutches of kidnappers, leaving shocking details in its wake.
The incident unfolded when a 12-year-old boy was abducted from the bustling Amingaon railway market. A gang of kidnappers arrived in a Maruti van and seized the teenager with alarming determination.
Inside the vehicle, the teenager was subjected to physical assault and menacing threats with a sharp weapon, should he make any noise. The abductors, dressed in black kurtas and white caps, maintained an aura of secrecy.
As fate would have it, the car halted at the Gauhati Reserve Bank en route to Guwahati railway station. Seizing the opportunity, the young captive mustered his courage and fled from the vehicle. Swiftly, he sought refuge with the police, narrating the harrowing ordeal.
The brave teenager’s act of self-preservation led to his reunion with his family in Amingaon, with the assistance of the police. The entire incident has sent ripples of astonishment throughout the locality.
