ISRO Completes Launch Rehearsal for Aditya-L1 Mission

National Desk, 31st August: The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has completed the launch rehearsal for its Aditya-L1 mission, which is scheduled to launch on September 2, 2023. The rehearsal involved a full dress rehearsal of the launch countdown, including the filling of the rocket with propellants and the ignition of the engines.

The Aditya-L1 mission is India’s first solar mission and will study the Sun’s corona, the outermost layer of the Sun’s atmosphere.

The launch rehearsal went off without a hitch, and ISRO is confident that the Aditya-L1 mission is on track for launch. The mission is expected to make significant contributions to the understanding of the Sun and its impact on Earth.

In addition to the launch rehearsal, ISRO has also completed the vehicle internal checks for the Aditya-L1 mission. These checks involved a thorough inspection of the rocket and spacecraft to ensure that they were in good condition and ready for launch.

With the launch rehearsal and vehicle internal checks complete, ISRO is now focused on the final preparations for the launch of the Aditya-L1 mission. The mission is scheduled to launch from the Sriharikota spaceport in Andhra Pradesh on September 2, 2023.
