Assam: Man Succumbs to Heat in Nagaon
Guwahati, 5th September: In a tragic incident that unfolded in Uriagaon, Assam’s Nagaon district, a person named Chirajul Hoque tragically lost his life due to the scorching heat on Tuesday.
The intense heatwave conditions proved fatal for Hoque, who was unable to withstand the oppressive weather while traveling to a shop on his bicycle to sell tea powder.
Compounding the distress, there was a complaint regarding the absence of emergency medical services, specifically the 108 service, despite being called upon.
This incident serves as a poignant reminder of the risks associated with high temperatures, highlighting the importance of remaining vigilant and adequately prepared during extreme weather events.
