Guwahati, July 10: In a significant initiative aimed at empowering college and university students in Assam, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma ceremonially distributed the first tranche of admission fee reimbursements under the Pragyan Bharati scheme.
The event, held with pomp and enthusiasm, marked a milestone as a total of 94,838 students from across Assam benefitted from this progressive initiative. The funds, disbursed directly to Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), underscored the government’s commitment to supporting students’ educational endeavors.
