Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Visits Kra Daadi District, Pledges Development Focus in Remote Areas
Northeast Desk, 23th September: In a historic visit to Kra Daadi District, Arunachal Pradesh Governor Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.) made his first-ever trip to the remote administrative circles of Pipsorang and Tali on September 23, 2024. Accompanied by State Minister Shri Jikke Tako, the Governor emphasized the government’s commitment to fostering development in these border areas under the Vibrant Village Programme.
Addressing the villagers, the Governor highlighted key sectors for progress: health, education, infrastructure, and tourism. He stressed the importance of integrating technology to monitor government schemes and advocated for innovative solutions like drone medicine deliveries. Reviewing local projects, he urged officials to focus on reducing school drop-out rates and promoting healthcare availability.
The Governor also emphasized tourism development, recommending the adoption of Bhutan’s tourism model to spur local entrepreneurship. His visit marked a significant step towards improving the region’s infrastructure and quality of life.
