Arunachal: Tawang Celebrates Dedication of Police Personnel at Promotion Ceremony

Itanagar: Tawang recently hosted a Pipping Ceremony to honor the exceptional service and dedication of its police personnel, with several officers receiving promotions in recognition of their hard work. The event, attended by key dignitaries, celebrated the officers’ unwavering commitment to their duties and their contributions to the district’s safety and well-being.

The ceremony took place in the presence of senior officials, including Tawang MLA Namgey Tsering, SP Tawang Dr. DW Thungon, DSP Taso Kato, and Circle Inspector Kesang Norbu. Other notable figures at the event included EAC SW Mosobi, Chairman of Tawang Lamps Dorjee Norbu, and MMT President, Tawang Unit, Pema Chowang.

MLA Namgey Tsering took the opportunity to congratulate the newly promoted officers, praising their exemplary service. He also acknowledged the efforts of Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Home Minister Mama Natung in strengthening the state’s police force. According to Tsering, their leadership has played a vital role in motivating the police personnel to excel in their duties and serve the community with utmost dedication.

Tsering urged the newly promoted officers to carry forward their work with the same level of commitment and professionalism, wishing them continued success in their future roles.
