Chinese soldier apprehended in Eastern Ladakh
A People’s Liberation Army (PLA) soldier identified as Corporal Wang Ya Long has been apprehended in Eastern Ladakh. The Indian Army has taken the Chinese solider to their custody, the soldier is stated to be strayed across the LAC area and he had entered into Indian territory.
The Indian Army has provided medical assistance to soldier including oxygen, warm clothes and food to protect him from extreme altitude and climatic conditions. The Indian Army has received a request from the Chinese counterpart about the missing soldier. And as per as protocols Corporal Wang Ya Long will be returned back to the Chinese army.
