A Leopard captured in Sepon tea garden

A leopard was captured on Thursday morning by the forest department who was roaming around Sepon tea garden in Dibrugarh for last 10 days. To the capture the leopard, forest department had laid a cage after the locals had informed them about the leopard presence in the tea garden.

The captured leopard will be release into a jungle after a clinical check-up is done. In the last few months a lot of leopard were seen tea gardens of Dibrugarh due to scarcity of food and water in the forest so the leopard ventured out in the near by tea gardens.
