AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal likely to Visit Assam

Guwahati: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Arvind Kejriwal is likely to visit Assam on May 29. The Delhi Chief Minister will visit the state with the goal of bolstering the party’s base in the state, which now has 10 lakh members.

According to reports, AAP Assam State Coordinator Bhaben Choudhury told that the state unit of the party has proposed a date for party president Arvind Kejriwal to visit Guwahati on May 29. “We have submitted the date to the Delhi Chief Minister, but confirmation is still pending due to weather.” Kejriwal will take part in a roadshow in Guwahati, which will require excellent weather, and if all goes well, he will join us on May 29,” Choudhury said.

It may be mentioned that the party has made an entry in the state by winning a ward in the Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) elections.

Moreover, in 24 wards, the party came in second place. It also came in third place after Congress overall in the polls, with 4,40,000 votes.
