Actor Akshay Kumar invited to visit Kaziranga National Park

Guwahati: Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been invited by Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve (KNPTR) to visit the park. The actor had donated Rs 1 crore for the animal welfare of the park.

Following the catastrophic situation of wild animals during the Assam flood back in 2019, Akshay donated the amount under the chief minister’s relief fund.

Akshay tweeted, “All affected, humans or animals, deserve support in this hour of crisis. I’d like to donate 1 Cr each to the CM relief fund & for Kaziranga Park rescue.”

Showing the developments done by the park authority they twitted “Shri Akshay Kumar @akshaykumar, your donation is used for construction of high land, floating camps, anti-poaching camps and development of wetland.”

In a video published by the KNPTR authority, the actor’s donation was used to rebuild or refurbish the Donga Anti-poaching camp, Karasing Anti-poaching camp, Potahi Wetland, Bandardubi Road Cum Highland, and Floating Camp.
