Adani group officially takes over Guwahati LGBI Airport

The Adani Group, on Tuesday, signed concession Agreements with the Airports Authority of India (AAI) for the Management, Operations and Development of Guwahati, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram Airports. The concession period is 50 years from the Commercial operation date.

In August last year, Adani Group emerged as the successful bidder in a Global competitive bidding conducted by the AAI, winning the Rights to operate and develop these Airports in a Public-Private Partnership mode for 50 years. “The concessionaires are required to take up the Guwahati, Jaipur and Thiruvananthapuram Airports fulfilling certain conditions precedents within 180 days from January 19, 2021,” the Airports Authority of India said.
