Congress MP Pradyut Bordoloi has termed All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) as the Minor Partner of his Party. The AIUDF is a part of Congress-led grand alliance for the upcoming Assam Assembly Elections. Addressing a Press meet in Guwahati on Monday, Nagaon MP Bordoloi said that AIUDF will never be a major Partner in the Congress-led Alliance. “AIUDF is a minor partner.
They will never be the major partner. The Alliance will be under the Leadership of Congress,” said the Congress leader. Bordoloi said that Congress has decided to draw a ‘Lakshman Rekha’ for its alliance Partners. “We have decided to draw a ‘Lakshman Rekha’. This alliance will be based on ‘Common Minimum Programme’. Congress will never tolerate any communal statement from the AIUDF also,” he added.
