Amit Shah: 33% jobs in Tripura to be reserved for women
Guwahati: On the occasion of International Women’s Day on Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared that 33% of government positions in Tripura will be earmarked for women.
He stated that Biplab Deb’s administration had put an end to political violence, speaking at a rally here to mark the fourth anniversary of the BJP-IPFT government in the northeastern state.

According to the Union home minister, there has been a 30% decrease in heinous crimes in Tripura, and the conviction rate has risen to 53% from 5%.
Shah stated that the current administration will keep all of the promises made in the previous manifesto, and that he will return to Tripura to campaign for votes. Early next year, the north-eastern state will hold assembly elections.
