Guwahati: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday will address to global investors and specialists in the infrastructure, real estate, and legal sectors about the CPSE privatisation strategy, asset monetization, and their contribution to India’s economy.
The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management (DIPAM) and NITI Aayog are hosting a post-Budget consultation webinar. The workshop would include senior managers from Public Sector Enterprises (PSE) and 22 ministries.
Global sovereign funds, private equity, global pension funds, investment banks, asset monetization companies, particularly in real estate and infrastructure, and legal experts, as well as other stakeholders from North America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Far East, and Australia, will all be in attendance.
An official statement said, “With this webinar, DIPAM aims to elicit ideas and views from the sectoral experts, investors’ community and other eminent stakeholders on the issues to chalk out a time-bound implementation plan/strategy regarding Privatization/Disinvestment of Public Sector Enterprises and Asset Monetization of Core and Non-Core assets for realization of optimal outcome/contribution in India’s growth.”
