Amit Shah: Ayodhya Ram Temple to be Inaugurated in Jan 1, 2024
Guwahati: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday stated that the inauguration of the Lord Ram temple in Ayodhya will take place on January 1, 2024.
Shah was quoted by news agency ANI as saying, “Congress hindered the construction of Ram temple in courts…After the Supreme Court verdict came, Modiji began the construction of the temple.”
The Union Minister made the announcement while speaking to a crowd in Tripura, which is preparing for elections.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated in November that the temple’s construction had reached a halfway point and would be completed by the end of the year.
160 columns will be on the ground floor, 132 on the first floor, and 74 on the second floor of the finished temple. There will be five pavilions, or “mandaps.” There will be a centre for pilgrim facilitation, a museum, an archive, a research centre and an auditorium, a shed for cattle, an office building, and priestly quarters on the property.
There are also plans to develop nearby heritage structures like “Kuber Tila” and “Sita Koop”.
