APDCL urges Assam residents to switch-off electrical appliances during ‘Earth Hour’ on March 26

Guwahati: Assam Power Distribution Company Limited (APDCL) on Saturday urged the people of Assam to participate in “Earth Hour” on March 26, 2022, by turning off lights (save the most essential lights) from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm in support of the World Wildlife Fund – India.

It should be noted that Earth Hour is one of the world’s major environmental movements.

Over the years, Earth Hour has evolved and expanded the message of environmental protection and conservation beyond the hour. It is the only global movement that brings people together for a common purpose and mission.

In a tweet, APDCL wrote, “APDCL requests the people of Assam to observe the “Earth Hour” on 26th March, 2022, Saturday by switching off the lights (except most essential lights) from 8-30 PM to 9-30 PM as a support to WWF – INDIA. @CMOfficeAssam@BimalBorah119″
