Guwahati: In a major breakthrough, two active cadres of ENNG (Eastern Naga National Government) has been arrested by security forces from Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh on Tuesday.
The cadres has been arrested in two separate operations.
Based on specific input regarding the presence of two ENNG cadres, troops of Assam Rifles launched a joint operation along with state police. An extensive search of the area was carried out.
During the search of the area, the militants was apprehended by the joint team.
This has been informed by the Defence spokesman.
Later, the apprehended cadres have been handed over to Changlang Police for further investigation.
