Guwahati: The Arunachal Pradesh cabinet has agreed to launch a departmental investigation into the paper leak issue at the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APSSC), officials said.
An official stated that the departmental investigation into the APPSC document leak matter would be independent of the existing CBI and Arunachal Pradesh police investigations.
He added that by pleading with the high court to name a court for the case the departmental investigation into the APPSC paper leak issue will be expedited.
A paper leak controversy recently shook Arunachal Pradesh (civil) during exams to hire assistant engineers.
The exams were conducted by Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission(APPSC).
In relation to the matter, several people have already been arrested.
