Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Promises Ministerial Berth to Liromoba MLA
Northeast Desk, 12th February: In a significant announcement during a massive gathering at Liromoba in West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu pledged a ministerial berth to sitting MLA Liromoba, urging residents to support Nyamar Karbak.
Arriving via helicopter, Chief Minister Pema Khandu addressed a large developmental and campaign rally in Liromoba, an essential town within the expansive 27th Liromoba assembly constituency of West Siang. The constituency has been represented by Nyamar Karbak, a BJP MLA and advisor to the Home Minister, for seven consecutive years.
During his speech, CM Pema Khandu assured that if the constituents of the Liromoba assembly constituency, which includes Liromoba, Kamba, Darak, and Yomcha, vote to re-elect Nyamar Karbak as the BJP MLA, he would be granted a ministerial berth.
Liromoba serves as the village headquarters of Liromoba-Yomcha tehsil in West Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh, making the announcement particularly significant for the local community.
Responding to the announcement, BJP leader Jarpum Gamlin expressed appreciation for CM Pema Khandu’s commitment to reserve a cabinet position for the Liromoba MLA in the upcoming tenure after the elections.
Gamlin emphasized the historical significance of Liromoba constituency, having been represented by prominent state leaders in the past, and praised CM Khandu for demonstrating his support for the entire Galo community of West Siang district and the state as a whole through his pledge.
