Arunachal Government Announces Administrative Reshuffle

Northeast Desk, 27th February: In a recent administrative reshuffle, the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has made key appointments and transfers within the state’s bureaucracy to enhance efficiency and governance.

One notable change is the appointment of Talo Potom as the Chief Estate Officer (CEO) and Nodal Officer for National Highway 415 packages B & C. With a distinguished track record, Potom will oversee critical infrastructure projects along National Highway 415, bringing his wealth of experience to the role.

Additionally, Ms. Shweta Nagarkoti, an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer, is set to transition from her current position as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) to Deputy Commissioner for the Capital Region of Itanagar. Nagarkoti’s administrative expertise and dedication to public service make her well-equipped to address the region’s challenges and priorities.

Other significant appointments include Mr. Sunny Kumar Singh, an IAS officer, who will assume the role of Deputy Commissioner in a district yet to be specified. Ms. Ira Singal, also an IAS officer, will serve as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Electoral Officer at Nirvachan Bhawan.

Furthermore, Mr. Hento Karga, an APCS (AG) officer, is slated to become the Commissioner of Tirap District, while Mr. Nighee Bengia, also an APCS (AG) officer, will take on the responsibilities of Deputy Commissioner in another district.

These appointments and transfers reflect the government’s commitment to improving administrative functions and governance mechanisms across various sectors in Arunachal Pradesh, ultimately serving the interests of the public.
