Arunachal Pradesh Announces Key Police Postings
Itanagar: The Arunachal Pradesh government has announced key postings in the state police department. Jummar Basar, an APPS officer, has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Itanagar Capital Region (ICR). Meanwhile, Nyelam Nega has been named SP of Naharlagun.
The appointments follow a meeting of the Police Establishment Board (PEB). IPS officer Rohit Rajbir Singh, the previous SP of ICR, has been transferred to New Delhi. Mihin Gambo, the former SP of Naharlagun, has been posted to Police Headquarters as SP Special Branch.
Other notable postings include IPS officer Surendra Choudhary as SP of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, and Tirap SP Singjatla Singpho as SP (Planning) at the police headquarters. APPS officer Dusu Kaling has been appointed as the Principal of the Police Training Centre (PTC) at Banderdewa.
IPS officer Aditya, currently ASP Tirap, has been promoted as SP of the district. Anjaw SP Rike Kamsi (APPS) has been transferred as SP Security. Other postings include Shivendu Bhushan as SP Crime/SIT, Anurag Dwivedi as SP of Anjaw, and more.
