Arunachal: Tanyang Gaduk, APPSC Payment For Employment Fraud Suspect was Granted Temporary Bail

Guwahati: The Yupia Session Court granted interim bail for 20 days to 57-year-old Tanyang Gaduk who was arrested in relation to the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) paper leak scam on December 8.

Gaduk has reportedly been granted bail due to his medical condition. He will travel to Gangaram Hospital in Delhi to receive medical attention.

On December 7, 2022, the Session Court heard a bail petition from up to six accused who had been arrested at the outset of the paper leak investigation.

The six accused who filed bail pleas are – Tanyang Gaduk, Thomas Gaduk, Kenjom Bagra, Kendra Bagra, Iken Bagra and Opet Mibang.

Tanyang Gaduk was granted interim bail for a period of 20 days, however the court denied the other defendants’ requests for bail.

It may be mentioned that Tanyang Gaduk is the father of Thomas Gaduk (26) who is an AE exam candidate.

31 people have been arrested thus far in relation to the APPSC paper leak case by the Special Investigation Cell (SC) of the Arunachal Pradesh Police.

The CBI has been given the case of the leaked AE (civil) question paper. The Special Investigation Cell is looking into all other incidents based on numerous FIRs submitted by disgruntled applicants.
