Guwahati, 26th February: In a collaborative effort led by Assam Police and Assam Rifles in Cachar district, authorities successfully seized 126 grams of brown sugar.
During a meticulous search operation, a 21-year-old individual was apprehended, and upon further investigation, 10 soap cases containing the illicit substance were discovered, totaling 126 grams of brown sugar.
Following standard protocols, the seized items under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act were confiscated, and the accused individual was promptly arrested.
Legal proceedings are underway to delve deeper into the matter and establish any additional connections pertaining to the case.
