Guwahati: In the ongoing war against drugs Assam Police arrested two suspected drug peddlers in Assam’s Morigaon districts.
The two arrestees were identified as Rebul Islam and Matibur Rahman. Both are the resident of Shalkathi village which comes under Dhing police station in Nagaon district.
Based on a secret information a joint operation was launched by Morigaon Police along with Mirabari Police and seized three shop cases filled with drugs.
Moreover, the police also seized two mobile phones from the two accused.
It may be mentioned that during their operation police further seized two bikes which were used in drug peddling.
