Guwahati: Assam Police detained two licensed advocates on Wednesday for their alleged involvement in a child marriage case.
The accused have been identified as Abdul Haque and Farooq Lashkar. They were taken into custody today morning from Bar library in Hailakandi district.
According to police, both are presently being questioned.
Further investigation is underway.
