Guwahati: Dead body of a woman has been recovered in a mysterious circumstances floating in a pond from Nagaon district of Assam on Saturday.
The body was recovered from the Rupahihat in North Khatuwal area of the district.
The body was seen floating in the pond by the local residents of the area this morning.
However, the identification of the body is yet to be ascertained.
Meanwhile, Rupahihat police officials has been informed about the incident and investigation is underway into the matter.
