Assam: Bongaigaon MLA Phanibhusan Chaudhary Hospitalized at GMCH

Guwahati, 11th February: Bongaigaon MLA Phanibhusan Chaudhary has been admitted to GMCH (Guwahati Medical College Hospital) after falling ill. Details surrounding the sudden illness remain unclear, but Chaudhary’s health condition is being closely monitored at GMCH.

Upon learning of Chaudhary’s hospitalization, singer Zubeen Garg paid a visit to GMCH to inquire about the MLA’s health. The specifics of Chaudhary’s illness and his current health status are not disclosed at this time. However, medical professionals at GMCH are providing the necessary attention and care to ensure his well-being.

Earlier, Chaudhary had announced that he would not be contesting in the Barpeta Lok Sabha elections. He also stated that no current MLA from the AGP would be participating in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

“I am still an MLA, and I will not step into national politics. Some people may be saying things, but I have not thought anything in this regard. I am not going to contest in the Lok Sabha elections,” said Chaudhary.

As the situation develops, the focus remains on Chaudhary’s recovery and the provision of adequate medical assistance at GMCH.
