Assam Boy Saurav Dey To Take Part In BCCI U-19 Camp
Guwahati: A young cricketer from Assam’s Karimganj Saurav Dey has been accepted for the BCCI Under 19 camp to be held in Pondicherry, reports stated.
According to reports, the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) received notification of this via a letter from the BCCI.
The U-19 (Boys) camp will be held under the auspices of NCA and BCCI from April 24 to May 18, 2023.
”The All India Junior Selection Committee has selected the players in the list attached from your Association to attend the above camp as per the details mentioned. You are requested to inform the selected players to report at their respective venues on April 23, 2023,” the letter stated.
The NCA should be notified right away if a player is unfit, according to the BCCI’s request in the letter for ACA to verify the players’ physical condition for the camp.
Coming to Saurav Dey, he competes for the NSSA squad from Karimganj and they qualified after taking second place in the Zonal Championship and winning the district round.
