Assam CM Commends Guwahati Traffic Police Officer for Assisting Physically Challenged Individual

Guwahati, 18th July: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised a Guwahati Traffic Police officer for his compassionate act of assisting a physically challenged individual in crossing a bridge. The gesture, captured in a video shared by CM Sarma on social media platform X, highlights the dedication of Assam’s police force towards public welfare.

CM Sarma lauded the Guwahati Police for their unwavering commitment to the motto of “জনহিত জনসেৱাৰ্থে” (welfare of the people). In his post, he wrote, “Standing true to their motto of জনহিত জনসেৱাৰ্থে, our Police officials are ever ready to extend a helping hand to the citizens of Assam. My compliments to the Guwahati Traffic Police jawan for this kind gesture of helping a divyang cross a bridge.”
